Welcome
Being fully accepted, exactly as we are – valued – is an extraordinarily powerful thing … and something most of us aren’t used to.
Genetics, relationships, work, and culture all create expectations and pressures that shape how we experience ourselves, others, and the world – and how they experience us. Managing this complexity can be challenging; sometimes the challenge just feels too great and we become overwhelmed or stuck. Because being human is hard, and being our unique, individual selves is even harder.
But when we are accepted for ourselves, exactly as we are, we can move much closer to accepting ourselves – and others – in all our humanity. This is a place of stability, compassion, wisdom and strength, from which we can navigate our life.
So bring your whole self, exactly as you are, and let’s go from there.

About Me & My Approach
I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist (PGDip, Level 7 - Distinction), registered with the BACP, currently undertaking my Master’s degree in Psychotherapy. My approach is built on a rich foundation, having spent over 30 years teaching psychology, which now deeply informs how I support my clients.
My practice is rooted in the understanding that modern life and relationships create heavy pressures that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck. We develop ways of being, and coping strategies, often when very young, to ensure we get our needs met and are accepted by others. As we get older, these strategies can themselves create difficulties for us.
I work with adults navigating a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss, relationship issues, and major life changes like retirement, bereavement, or shifting family roles. Because each of us is entirely unique, I tailor and blend therapeutic styles to suit you and what you need. Our Space Together
I believe that being met with total acceptance, exactly as we are, is where real healing begins. In my sessions, I provide a safe, warm space of stability, compassion, and strength. Together, we can gently explore these old patterns, bring awareness to where they no longer serve you, and foster a deeper sense of self-acceptance and freedom with which you can move forward.
If you feel ready to take that next step, please feel free to get in touch.Practical Information
